The Cube is made of durable aluminized steel with an electrostatic surface which reflects heat better than stainless steel or other comparable surfaces. It can be used in multiple positions to accommodate different needs, such as cooking fast or slow, or cooking on a large pot or small cup.

"I got my Quickstove emergency kit with the pot and 2 disks in 2014, since then it has been part of my emergency system for boiling water and cooking meals a number of times. I rotate through different systems as a product reviewer and I have to say that this pot has a solid bottom, like any you would find in the kitchen. The folding stove is a handy stand with 7 described positions available for different fuels etc. The Emergency fuel disks are easy to light with a match or lighter, mine burn for an average of 25 minutes or more in a light breeze. Cleanup of the pot after using the disk for fuel is easy with a dry towel or paper towel wipe, I would suggest disposable paper towel for this job. I also like how the kit nests inside itself, its a bit heavy for backpacking but thats not the intended use, tucked under a seat in the truck or in the trunk of the care, stowed in a closet or under a desk at work, this set is good value.
